Quality Control

In line with our motto 'Quality People & Infrastructure for Quality Technology, Products & Services; Merit alone counts for Quality suitable for the purpose and one has know-how only when it is proven in real life by doing things better and making things better always’ utmost care is taken to maintain quality at every stage by recruiting/engaging quality people and setting up quality infrastructure for delivering quality technology, products and services in time. ‘Quality products, lasting warranty, trouble free performance, prompt service and easy access at reasonable cost’ is the prime concern in procurement/purchases of equipment, implements, tools and inputs and utmost care will be taken to ensure this at every stage and the decision of the purchase committee shall be final and binding.  Supply of inferior quality items to the station will be taken up with appropriate quality control agencies. Instances of receiving inferior quality items and poor servicing from any firm/agency will be notified to all centres/officers of Kerala Agricultural University through emails to announce@kau.in cautioning all in dealing with them. Action will be taken to blacklist them by the Kerala Agricultural University for future purchases. The details of blacklisted firms/agencies will be published in the official website of the station and the Kerala Agricultural University for information of all concerned. Individual cases will be further taken up with appropriate consumer grievance forums for redressal and compensation.
